Overwatch Announces Newest Character – Brigitte

For months now, Blizzard has been teasing Overwatch enthusiasts with. Today, Blizzard introduced their newest character in the Overwatch world, Brigitte, Torbjorn’s daughter! 

Brigitte is a support that specializes in armor. Like her father, she throws out repair packs but instead of armor, she “repairs” health. Brigitte also has the ability to automatically heal nearby allies when she damages foes with her Flail. Her Flail is capable of a wide swing to strike multiple targets, or a Whip Shot that stuns an enemy at range. For a semi healer, it looks like Brigitte’s Barrier Shield will provide personal defense while she attacks enemies with Shield Bash.  Her ultimate ability, Rally, gives her a substantial short-term boost of speed and provides long-lasting armor to all her nearby allies.
