During the current run of Forever Evil,  Justice League issues have been mediocre at best. Finally, the series got a lot more interesting in the latest issue in Justice League #27. Not only does this book have a lot of Cyborg in it but, it was great from the beginning to the end.

In this issue, Cyborg is almost dead. His original android body rejected the human side of him and now put him in an incapacitated state. He decides that he needs to be rebuilt and to stop The Grid. With the help from his father and his group of scientists, Cyborg received a new body that is lighter, less bulky, and in the meantime, offline from the network. I would personally have to say that this issue of Justice League has been the best one in a long while during the Forever Evil run. I like the fact that they did a full one-shot on Cyborg himself and maybe, he will become an important cog in bringing order back from the Crime Syndicate. The best part in this issue was after his new body was rebuilt, he was not only glad that he was whole again, but was very happy that he was not connected to the network.

The art in this story was spot on as usual. Ivan Reis does an incredible job portraying the mood with his art. Even after Cyborg receives his classic/new look, the details he puts on the characters are amazing. I am all about detail and facial expressions and this issue has it all.

Justice League #27 is a definite must have for you comic freaks. The story was great (Even for you Cyborg haters out there), the art style was beautifully done, and there were multiple powering pages in this chapter. With Forever Evil coming to an end in March, this issue will definitely make you wonder “how will this epic end?”. I cannot wait!
