New Announcements from Seven Seas Entertainment – March 2, 2022

Manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announced newly licensed titles last Wednesday. In addition, a highly anticipated new manga series has also just been released for sale.

Seven Seas’ latest Wednesday announcement of three licenses features a variety of manga genres, all great pickups and highly popularized in Japan.


Hunting in Another World With My Elf Wife is a sweet isekai about a local Hokkaido hunter killed by a bear as he tries to save a child. Transported to another world by a goddess, he struggles against deadly creatures until he meets Saran, a beautiful and powerful elf huntress. Feelings blossom as the two team up to survive the wild together. Volume 1 is scheduled to be released in October 2022 and will be available both in print and digitally.


Still, in the romance genre, I Get the Feeling that Nobukuni-San Likes Me is a sexy comedy following Nobukini and her attempts at seducing her crush, Sasaki. After researching teen magazines and asking advice from other girls, Nobukini schemes to attract Sasaki, but with little success. In the meantime, Sasaki is harboring some secrets himself! Volume 1 is scheduled to be released in November 2022 and will be available both in print and digitally.Case Files

Lastly, the highly acclaimed The Case Files of Jeweler Richard light novel will be available. The mystery series inspired an anime and a manga after its debut. The story follows Seigi Nakata as he hires brilliant jewelry expert Richard Ranasinghe de Vulpian to appraise a family heirloom, but ends up getting more than he bargained for. The pair team up to find secret messages within precious stones, and in their previous owners. Volume 1 of the light novel series is scheduled to be released in September 2022 and will be available both in print and digitally.

Multiple new releases have also hit North American markets, including both light novels and mangas. Each release varies by platform.

The manga adaptation of Classroom of the Elite, volume 1, is now available digitally. Stemmed from the light novels that spawned an anime series, the story follows Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and his classmate Horikita Suzune as they claw their way up the ranks in the quietly notorious Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. Digital editions can be purchased on the most popular platforms, including Kindle and Comixology.

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is an award-winning Otome isekai series. Pride Royal Ivy releases she’s been reincarnated as the villainess of an otome game, with a future as the wicked queen and final boss. Deciding to stray from the path and instead protect the male love interests, Princess Pride sets out to find new adventure and happiness. The light novel version of the series is now available digitally, while the print copy will be available on April 5, 2022.
