Titans Rebirth #1 review

FAIR WARNING: I wouldn’t read this before DC Rebirth #1.  Even Flash Rebirth #1 add to the backstory as well.  Titans Rebirth #1 picks up where Titans Hunt left off, but the previous comics help fill in the blanks.

Titans Rebirth #1 is all about the original red head Wally West running into the Titans. Of course, because no one remembers him, this leads to  a confrontation.  Slowly Titans1memories start restoring as the fight continues.  Honestly, that takes up the whole issue.  The interaction between the characters were short, but the little backstories between Wally and the Titans made up for it as far as character development goes.  The art was spot on most of the time with minor exaggerations of characters proportions.  Their sleek costumes look great and the expressions on their faces look believable.

Overall, this story introduces Wally back to the Titans and not much else.  While it wasn’t bad for what it was doing, there could have been more of a cliff hanger to really steer were this comic was going in the future.  Guess we’ll have to wait a see what Titans #1 has in store for us.
