Floyd Iraia Reveal & 4 Player Local / 2 Player Co-op In Streets of Rage 4

The final character has been announced! With its upcoming release in the spring, co-developer/publisher DotEmu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games released some exciting news about Streets of Rage 4 today:

The newest and final character, Floyd Iraia, dishes out serious damage with his incredibly strong cybernetic arms, a cutting-edge upgrade courtesy of Streets of Rage 3’s playable cyborg, Dr. Zan. Although Floyd’s movement and health recovery are slower than most, he boasts the longest reach among the playable roster and tremendous power, ensuring any combo he puts an enemy through will be devastating.

Of my first impression of Floyd, I immediately compare him to Jax from the Mortal Kombat series. He even says “Gotcha” when he grabs his enemies! That is not a bad thing at all.

To make my excitement even more hype about this game, Dotemu made another announcement. Streets of Rage 4 will have 4 player local / 2 player Online Co-op. This will be the first time Streets of Rage will be 4 players. All that is missing now is a release date. When that day comes, we will be ready.
