Happy New Year, everyone, and thanks for waiting patiently and looking forward to part 2 of my 10 picks from anime in 2020, the difficult time for the world because of a pandemic and then quarantines that came with it.
The difficulty continues, with another lockdown in many countries. As I’m writing this column, Tokyo, where I live, is issuing its second state of emergency since April last year. The new anime production will probably get delayed again. That’s very unfortunate, but still, on the bright side, we can keep on binge-watching anime. So let’s go back if you have missed watching any of my lists or had them on hold.
In fact, I was purely delighted by the readers’ comments saying they went ahead and watched the shows from my last recommendations. Thank you for doing that, and hopefully, these 5 more titles will be enjoyed by you.
Because this is a continuation of my previous article, the same rule applies. Therefore I won’t mention any sequels. As a hard-core anime enthusiast, I want to introduce shows that could be unknown to some of you rather than super famous shows that come up on streaming sites often as “popular now” already. But if they were still having season 1 by the end of last year, now might be the best time to talk about it among weebs, before normal people start talking about it like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Let’s see if your recent favorite made it!
