Earlier today at the New Game Plus Expo, NIS America announced they are bringing the renowned series Ys IX: Monstrous Nox to the US in 2021. The Ys IX has been currently released in Japan since August of 2019. Fans of the series will be overjoyed that it is coming to the US on PS4, Switch, & Steam. Â
In Ys IX, you play as Adol Christen, a renowned adventurer in the series. You and your companion, Dogi, arrive at Balduq, a city annexed by the Romun Empire, only for Adol to be detained before setting foot inside. While imprisoned, he meets a mysterious woman named Aprilis who turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters.
